Ashley’s love for the practice of yoga began in high school and in 2012 she began teaching. Her passion and appreciation for yoga and its healing capabilities stems from her own life’s journey. Having sought refuge in the practice during many difficult transitions, from her parents divorce to childbirth and the stresses of parenthood, to the daily pressures that life inevitably brings.
Yoga was always there offering inner peace. Since then her love has expanded to yoga’s sister science of ayurveda and herbalism learning how to better serve the body in a more natural and holistic way. Ashley is an animal advocate and loves all things nature and enjoys spending time outdoors and learning all the gifts our plant friends have to offer. Her, her husband, their two young children, two rescue dogs, cat, and chickens reside in Spring Prairie soaking up all that country living has to offer. Since 2012, Ashley has received training in reiki, meditation, yoga nidra (yogic sleep), pranayama (breath practices) and restorative yoga, among many others. She also has her 200RYT, 100 ayurvedic counseling certification and 140 trauma informed certification. Currently, she is working to finish her 300RYT and will be pursuing her IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapist) certification in the near future. She hopes to bring a calm, balanced presence to those around her and offer a more aware sense of self and an enlightened way of living to her clients.

Growing up on a farm in Indiana, Sue’s spiritual values were shaped by nature, creativity, and the social issues of the 1960’s. From childhood, Sue has possessed a strong sense of mind, body, spirit connection and the potential for endless possibilities. Sue’s future education developed and expanded this groundwork.
Professionally Sue has been an elementary school teacher, a United Methodist pastor, a hospital Spiritual Care educator in which she trained chaplains and pastors, and finally the head of Spiritual Care for Aurora Healthcare. Along the way, Sue has had the opportunity to support people in becoming who God dreams them to be via nonjudgmental listening, thoughtful questioning, and seeing and affirming the Divine Spark that lies within. Sue’s theology is one of grace, built upon the teachings of Whitehead, Teilhard de Chardin and the mystic, Meister Eckhart. It has been informed by Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, and Native American writers and experiences as well. Sue’s interest in meditation began in the 1970’s with TM. This has grown via training in centering prayer, breathwork, MBSR, Interplay, yoga, reiki and energy medicine. Sue has also been privileged to guide and teach extensive creative work such as journaling, collage and basic art for inner exploration. I enjoy creating space for individuals to connect with the Light within. I am a rare bird.

Karen has been working in the medical field as a vascular technologist for many years and is also a cancer survivor. As important as Western medicine (allopathic medicine) is to her, she felt that something was missing. She now believes the missing piece is energy medicine, treating the subtle body as well as the physical body.
During Karen’s training as a yoga teacher she was introduced to the subtle body, our energy body. After completing her 500 hour yoga teacher training she began to delve deeper into the importance of working with the subtle body in order to achieve wellness of our whole being, mind, body and emotions. Her intention is not to replace but rather to compliment Western medicine. Karen is certified in Thai massage, where she moves and stretches the physical body in order to move stuck energy. She is certified in crystal therapy, aroma therapy and Reiki all of which bring balance into our energy systems. Karen is also a Brain Longevity Specialist, trained and certified by the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation. She is happy to discuss with you how diet, exercise, stress reduction, and Kirtan Kriya aid brain health. Karen believes that imbalances in our energy system are directly related to our health, so to effectively heal on all levels we must work with our subtle body to restore balance.
